The property on which the Landings is located was part of a 200 acre farm owned by the Pug and Alta Hargan. Mr. Hargan’s father purchased the farm in 1946 and harvested crops and raised livestock for over five decades on the farm which is bordered to the north by tree line and the beautiful Otter Creek. In the 1980’s after a neighbor constructed Lincoln Trail Golf Course & Country Club on the adjoining property, Mr. Hargan began to envision a residential community, with large areas of green space, being developed on the farm.
In 2013, Mr. Hargan sold 130 acres of the farm and entrusted us and local developers, to plan and construct The Landings subdivision.
The Landings is located in the city of Vine Grove, Kentucky. It currently consists of 116 building lots many of which contain single family homes, and is conveniently located five miles from Fort Knox. In addition, there is just over 70 acres still remaining to be developed in the future.
Amenities include underground electric in a picturesque setting of the rural countryside while being minutes from shopping and entertainment areas. The Landings has high speed fiber optic wire run to each lot making it one of the most technologically advanced developments, with the the highest data speeds.
This community will ultimately be managed by a five member Home Owners Association made up of residents of the subdivision.
